Designing an Agentic Demo Experience for Atidot’s AI Platform
Project Overview
Atidot’s old engagement process wasn’t cutting it.
Agents got a cold email, maybe booked a demo… maybe didn’t. Even when they showed up, they’d leave confused how on how Magnet actually worked and what it did. And honestly? I didn’t blame them.
Magnet is Atidot’s AI-powered platform built for life insurance agents. It predicts lapses, upsell potential, and helps agents understand their book of business better than ever. But none of that mattered if users couldn’t see the value in action.
Employer:
Atidot
Role:
Lead Product Designer
Tools:
Figma, Lovable
Platform:
Web aplication
The Problem
Atidot’s biggest blocker?
We were asking too much, too soon:
“Schedule a 30 min call”
“Let us access your book”
… But that trust wasn’t there yet
“Trust us, it’s worth it”
Agents Are:
Not tech-savvy, unsure how to share data
Unclear on what “AI insights” even meant
Losing interest before they ever saw the value
The Approach
I led the charge on rethinking how we introduce Magnet. Instead of telling agents what it could do, I designed a self-guided, interactive demo that let them experience it firsthand.
✨ The idea was inspired by my own experience with tools like ChatGPT, Lovable, and Subframe: platforms that proved their value instantly, even before I paid a cent. ✨
So I built something similar, start to finish. A demo that lets agents feel the magic before making any commitments.
Key Features
Demo File Generator:
Instantly creates a sample book of business
Conversational Assistant:
Guides users, explains features, and answers questions
Landing Page:
I built a clean, no-effort landing page using Lovable so agents could dive right in
Insight Explorer:
Let users interact with real AI insights using demo data
The Results
Once we launched the Agentic Demo to test users, the impact was significant
Demo-to-Meeting Conversion 3.5x increase in follow-up meeting requests
Ease of Use 88% said it was “easy” or “very easy”
